How We Work With US Clients

CodeMaya pairs a US point of contact in Pleasanton, California with a software engineering team in Lucknow, India. Because our working day falls during your night, your project keeps moving around the clock: you review during the day, we build overnight.

A 24-Hour Development Cycle

Your morning

Wake up to progress

A written update and a new build are waiting: what was finished, what’s next, and any questions for you. Our team is online with you for standups and reviews: 8–10am Eastern and Central, 8–9am Mountain and Pacific.

Your business day

Review and decide

You test the latest build, comment in our shared channel, and reach our US point of contact in Pleasanton, California whenever you need to.

Your evening and night

We build

Our engineering team in Lucknow works through your feedback while you’re offline, so a change requested in the afternoon is usually ready to review the next morning.

Overlap and Engineering Hours in Your Time Zone

Every working day our team is online with you in your morning for standups, planning and demos. The rest of our day (9:00am to 6:00pm India Standard Time) falls during your night, which is when we build.

Need more overlap? For launches, migrations or teams that work closely with ours, we extend the overlap window by arrangement. Overlap times are in your local time all year; build hours shift by an hour when US clocks change, because India doesn't observe daylight saving time.

How We Keep You in Control

  • A named engagement lead who knows your project and writes your daily update.
  • Weekly demos of working software, so progress is never a matter of trust.
  • A shared channel in Slack or Teams, plus your issue tracker as the single source of truth.
  • Milestones tied to demos on fixed-price projects; weekly timesheets on time and materials.

Your Code, Your IP

  • Your repository from day one, with full commit history.
  • All intellectual property belongs to you; NDAs on request.
  • Least-privilege access to your systems, removed when the engagement ends.
  • Responsible AI use: engineer-reviewed changes and no training on your code.

Common Questions

Will I have to take calls late at night?

No. Live calls happen in your morning: 8–10am for Eastern and Central teams, 8–9am for Mountain and Pacific. Longer overlap is available when a project needs it.

What if something urgent comes up during my day?

Contact your US point of contact or your engagement lead. For launches, migrations and other critical periods, we arrange extended coverage in advance.

Can your developers join our existing standups and tools?

Yes. Dedicated-team engineers work in your Slack or Teams, your issue tracker and your repositories, and join your standups in your morning.

Who owns the code and IP?

You do. Work is committed to your repository (or transferred to it at each milestone), and all intellectual property belongs to you. We are happy to sign an NDA before you share details.

How do you use AI tools?

Our engineers use AI coding tools to prototype and build faster. Every AI-assisted change is reviewed by an engineer, we only use tools configured not to train on your code, and we tell you which tools touch your project.

Let's Talk About Your Project
